Vulcan Foundation Equipment manufactures the reliable Vulcan air/steam hammers, which have been the contractor's reliable tool for driven pile installation since 1887. Since 2008 we are a division of Pile Hammer Equipment Company, which has been both servicing and producing parts for Vulcan, Raymond and Conmaco hammers since 1983. Our founder, Norris Tremmier, was a key member of the team which produced the Vulcan 6300, the largest hammer manufactured in the United States. Both are shown below.
Our main office is in Rising Fawn, Georgia, with manufacturing facilities in Ft. Payne, Alabama. Our company philosophy is to offer the best in new and rebuilt pile driving equipment, along with an extensive inventory of parts for all makes and sizes of Vulcan hammers. We can build these hammers in all of their sizes. Vulcan hammers have been providing reliable service to contractors for a period spanning three centuries, and we are proud to continue to support and continue this great product line.
