As a service to its customers, Vulcan Foundation Equipment can perform drivability and wave equation analyses for impact hammers. However, there are certain information items that Vulcan requires and certain limitations in the scope and use of these studies that contractors and owners alike should be made aware of.

All drivability and wave equation analyses are subject to the following disclaimer, which should be understood from the beginning:

ATTENTION

THE ATTACHED FINITE DIFFERENCE WAVE EQUATION AND OTHER ANALYSES ("THE ANALYSES") ARE INTENDED EXCLUSIVELY AS A FIRST ESTIMATE OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE REFERENCED HAMMER UNDER THE STATED CONDITIONS. THE ANALYSES ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A COMPLETE GEOTECHNICAL ANALYSIS WHICH SHOULD BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE CUSTOMER.

THE ANALYSES ASSUME THE EXISTENCE OF CERTAIN CONDITIONS WHICH ARE EXPECTED TO VARY FROM THE ACTUAL CONDITIONS OF EACH PROJECT. THE VARIANCE BETWEEN ASSUMED CONDITIONS AND ACTUAL PROJECT CONDITIONS IS POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT.

VULCAN FOUNDATION EQUIPMENT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE ANALYSES OR THE VARIANCE BETWEEN THE RESULTS PREDICTED BY THE ANALYSES AND THE RESULTS ACHIEVED UNDER ACTUAL PROJECT CONDITIONS.
